My practice is fully virtual. This eliminates commute time and delays in treatment due to travel or inclement weather. I have found that clients see progress faster when they attend therapy consistently and virtual sessions greatly contribute to making it easier to be consistent.

I am licensed to provide therapy to any clients in NJ, NY, or FL. If you live outside of these states, it may be possible to meet as several states over reciprocity in licensing and state licensure compacts are pending and will greatly expand the number of different state residents to whom I will be able to provide services.

A client should be experiencing tangible progress in therapy and be able to recognize the changes that they want to see in their day-to-day lives. I do not enforce a set limit on the number of sessions for each client. We work together to set and achieve goals. For some clients, this may be very targeted and short term. Other clients find the consistency of sessions to be helpful in maintaining long-term progress. We will work together to decide what works best for you.

Yes. I have years of experience facilitating DBT skills groups and providing individual DBT therapy. While I do not currently offer groups, I can provide the necessary individual weekly DBT sessions and work collaboratively with your group facilitators to ensure you receive comprehensive DBT care.

Yes. CBT interventions are well suited to couples’ works as many problems often stem from issues in communication and unspoken expectations that are going unmet. For those seeking DBT, I also believe it can be essential for partners and family members to be educated on the therapeutic skills that their loved ones are learning. I offer couples or family sessions to help clients foster an educated support network in their home environment.
